Greens/EFA conference: The European Citizens' Initiative - How to get it started

With the European Citizens Initiative set to enter into force in 2012, the conference will look at what measures are needed to ensure the ECI can start to work. Several NGOs will also present their ideas and projects for an initiative, among them are projects for a nuclear-free Europe, for more effective exchange programmes in the EU, for media pluralism, and for fair roaming.

Good luck from me too and I've would also might vote for you if I had been a dane. I hope you get a seat. Personally EU gives me the creeps big time. It is both Orwellian and bilbical as of Mark of the Beast and all that stuff. Obviously they want to control the lives of all the citizens from the cradle to the grave. Geez, that reminds me of something else... yes, the religion of peace.

at 9:58 am on Oct 26, 2010ReplyLove the backyard iindbrg project. It raises important questions and some answers about the emerging role of mobile tech in citizen crowd sourcing of content. We've begun some discussions about this potential at the Holocaust Museum. Of course, the usual issues of authenticity, authority and accuracy, and historical sources vs created content need to be hashed out. If interested, I'd be happy to delve a little deeper into our concept of citizen history and the Children of the Lodz Ghetto moderated crowd-sourcing project. Finally, if anyone is planning to attend the DML conference in March and wants to form a panel on this topic, let me know!

Thats the thing with the sort of effort we are tnryig to make. We don't expect to make a massive difference to the world, but everyone has to start somewhere. All we are tnryig to do is portray things the way we see them, and put forward ideas that people can then make their own judgments about. Its all about coming together to do something about it, and helping each other install the motives within ourselves. I myself have issues with the very things i talk about. By working together, maybe. . just maybe we can make a difference. We'll see. Thanks for your support. There needs to be more people like you.
